AYER, Mrs. Louise "Buckie", age 89 of Nashville, TN passed away April 3, 2013. A member of Charlotte Avenue/Charlotte Heights Church of Christ for 89 years. She established the kindergarten school at Charlotte Avenue Church of Christ and was the principal there for 23 years until its closing. She was a precious mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose servant heart and nurturing spirit will be greatly missed by all who were fortunate to have known her. She is preceded in death by her husband, Albert Ayer. She is survived by daughters, Portia (Gary) Baker of Franklin, TN, Connie (Eddie) Long of Franklin, TN & Peggy Clark of Spring Hill, TN; grandchildren, Beth (Scott) Brummett, Bradley (Holland) Baker, Ashley (Bryan) Sasser, Lauren (Matt) Wall, Russ (Curry) Long, Ryan (Jordan) Long & Kyle (Stephanie) Clark; great-grandchildren, Baker, Brooke, Coleman, Mac, Mason, Ella, Ava, Georgia, Emma, Jeffrey, Neelley & Savannah; sister, Velma (Al) Bradshaw of Nashville, TN; special friends, Audrey Story, Bobby Kephart, Andrew Youngblood, Billy Stevens. Funeral services will be conducted 1:00PM Friday, April 5, 2013 at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home, Dr. Scott Sager, Dr. Alan Bradshaw & Bro. Darrell Blankenship officiating. Visitation will be 4-8PM Thursday and one hour prior to the service on Friday at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Park. Active pallbearers will be Grandsons. Honorary pallbearers will be Elders & Deacons of Charlotte Heights Church of Christ, Staff of Southerland Place.
