ALEXANDER, Mrs Margaret "Chic" Ryan Marlin, age 72, born in Williamson County on March 2, 1938, died on October 14, 2010. The daughter of the late Charlie "Big Daddy" Ryan and the late Willie "Big Mama" Ryan, she is preceded in death by husbands Doug Marlin and Raymond Alexander. Mrs. Alexander is also preceded in death by brothers, Dallas, Earl, Roy, Cliff, Elmer, George, and Ray Ryan, and a sister, Mary Johnson Hall. She is survived by son, Mike (Pam) Marlin of College Grove, TN; daughter, Denise (Danny) Powers of Dallas, TX; sister, Martha (James) Hinkle of McMinnville, TN; brother, C.W. (Christine) Ryan of Nashville, TN. Surviving Mother-in-law Pauline Alexander of Brentwood, TN; Step-Children include Rene (John) Dooley of Nolensville, TN and Jim (Terri) Alexander of Smyrna, TN; Grandchildren include Ricky (Samantha) Marlin of Chapel Hill, TN, Dana (Shane) Sparkman of Lewisburg, TN, Holly Marlin of College Grove, TN Amanda (Steven) Maldonado of Spring Hill, TN, Abbey (Skip) McCord of Lebanon, TN, Jason Alexander of Smyrna, TN Jeremy (Darci) Alexander of Murfreesboro, TN and Colton and Dalton Dooley of Nolensville, Christian, Ashley, Dillon Alexander of Smyrna, TN. Great-Grandchildren are Amelia, Zane, Michael, Ella, Eli, Elijah, and Cailin. Services will be conducted 2:00pm Saturday, October 16 at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home, Ronnie Johnson officiating. Burial Mt. Hope Cemetery. Pallbearers are family and friends. Honorary Pallbearers are the staff of NHC Franklin. Memorials may be made to the St. Judes Children's Hospital.
