Mrs. Margaret Rivers

RIVERS, Mrs. Margaret Elizabeth Simmons, age 94 of Franklin, TN, November 3, 2009. She was a homemaker and the daughter of the late Oscar and Irene Tomlin Simmons. Preceded in death by husband, J. Brown Rivers & daughter, Dorothy Ann Johnson. Survived by son in-law, Roland Johnson; grandchildren, James Morgan "J.J." Johnson & Annette (Doug) Burgett; great grandchildren, Brittany Johnson & James Morgan Johnson, Jr.; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00PM Thursday, November 5, 2009 at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home, Clifton Johnson officiating. Interment, Rivers Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Wayne & Vernon Johnson, Ronnie & Steve Simmons, Will Rivers & Larry Davenport. Honorary pallbearers will be Dane Pilkinton, Sonny Rivers, James Davenport, Kenneth Allen, Russell Turnage, Shirley Whitsey, Mark Puryear III, Lynn Simmons & Baird Harris.
