Mrs. Marie Encke

ENCKE, Mrs. Marie Tucker, age 84 of Franklin, TN, January 12, 2011. Member and Past President of Beta Sigma Phi. After raising her children, she received her degree in Psychology from Peabody College. Preceded in death by husband, Dr. William F. Encke & daughter, Bonnie Jeanne Encke Barnhill. Survived by: son, William David (Margie) Encke, Franklin, TN; daughter, Anne Marie Encke (Jerry) Elsner, Chicago, IL; sister, Thelma Drake, Greenwood, MS; grandchildren, Jonathan, Matthew & Mark Barnhill, Adrian Encke, Amber & Katelyn Clemons; great grandchild, Emilie Encke. Funeral services will be conducted 1:30 PM Sunday, January 16, 2011 at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home, Dr. Lynn Hill officiating. Interment Williamson Memorial Gardens. Family & friends will serve as pallbearers. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association or American Cancer Society.
