Mrs. Martha Peach

PEACH, Mrs. Martha Lillian Coulson, age 88 of Franklin, TN, September 3, 2010. Born in Algood, TN to the late R. Lee and Elsie Lemons Coulson. Member of Triune & Garrison United Methodist Church. Moved to the Boston Community in 1940 to teach school. In 1954 she began work at the State of TN Motor Vehicle Title Division where she retired after 30 years. Member of the Williamson Co. Election Commission for 19 years where she also served as a past Chairman. Honorary member of the Retired County Clerks Association. Preceded in death by husband of 49 years, Felix N. Peach; brother, Robert Lee Coulson; sisters, Ethel Draper, Lena Mae Winton, Blanche Standerfer & Rosemary Huddleston. Survived by daughter, Sue (Merl) Wheeley of Westmoreland, TN; son, Jim (Edith) Peach of the Burwood Community; grandchildren, Alex (Leann) Wheeley of Portland, TN, Vickie (Ken) Faler of Mt. Juliet, TN, Matthew (Trish) Wheeley, Micky (Joy) Wheeley & John Wheeley all of Westmoreland, TN, Jennifer (Jamie) Bledsoe of Joelton, TN & Jimmy (Kati) Peach of Spring Hill, TN; twenty great grandchildren; six great-great grandchildren; her very beloved pet, "Rags"; close devoted friend of many years, Elva Beard. Funeral Service will be conducted 2:00PM Sunday, September 5, 2010 at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home, Marty Bell & Pastor Peter Fergurson officiating. Interment, Williamson Memorial Gardens. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers. Memorials may be made to The Gideon's, The TN Baptist Children's Home, American Heart Assoc. or American Cancer Society.
