SMITH, Mrs. Mary Ruth, age 79 of Thompson Station, TN, May 7, 2012. Born in Franklin, TN to the late Edward Floyd, Sr. and Clara Moore Lemox. She was a retired Certified Public Accountant with the State of Tennessee. Survived by: husband, Thomas Clay Smith of Thompson Station, TN; son, Jackie (Debbie) Bennett of Thompson Station, TN; daughter, Sheila M. (Bill) Conn of Cross Keys Community; step sons, Richard & David Smith; brother, Harris Smithson of Texas; sister, Violet (Earl) Newcomb of Spring Hill, TN; step sisters, Sue Gatlin & Guanita Sullivan; grandchildren, Jill (Jim) Moore, Jake (Jennifer) Bennett, Julie (Travis) Powers & Katie Calvert; six great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 11:00 AM, Thursday, May 10, 2012, Jim Taylor officiating. Interment will be conducted 2:30 PM on Thursday at Hermitage Memorial Gardens.
