Mrs. Mary Thigpen

THIGPEN, Mrs. Mary Vernaciel, age 88 of Lawrenceburg passed away at her granddaughters home in Chattanooga, TN on October 31, 2013. She was a loving and caring woman that never had anything negative to say. She is preceded in death by her husband, Reeder Thigpen and son, Clifton Thigpen. She is survived by her sons, Don Thigpen of Franklin, TN and Mike Thigpen of Lawrence County, TN; brothers, Charles Shelton of Lawrence County, TN; sisters, Reba Nell Smith of Lawrence County, TN and Betty Traynor of Michigan; 11 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and other loving family members. Services will be conducted at 12:00 noon on Monday, November 4, 2013 at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home in Franklin, TN, Bro. T.R. Williams officiating. Burial will follow the service in Union Hill Cemetery, Lawrence County, TN.
