Mrs. Opal Blankenship

BLANKENSHIP, Mrs. Opal DeWire, age 92 passed away at her home in Franklin May 13, 2011. Long time resident of Williamson County, member of Franklin Church of Christ, and retiree of the former CPS. Preceded in death by her husband, Ashley Blankenship; sister, Clara Sullivan; brother, Elmer DeWire. Survived by Nieces, Carol Ann Sullivan, Patsy (Wesley) Boyd both of Franklin and several other nieces and nephews; Great and Great Great nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 11:00AM Monday, May 16, 2011 at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home, Mike Waters and Mitch Davis officiating. Interment, Mt. Hope Cemetery. Pallbearers, Wesley Boyd, Kyle Boyd, Eric Thoreson, John Denton, Elmer DeWire, and Emmett Mangrum. Honorary Pallbearers, Donald DeWire, Velmer Luckett, Lloyd Luckett, Robert Schmidt, Elders and Deacons of Franklin Church of Christ. Memorials may be made to Willowbrook Hospice.
