HILLIARD, Mrs. Rachel Poteete, age 59 of Franklin, TN. Longtime nurses aid with NHC Healthcare of Fairground St., Franklin. Preceded in death by parents, Deck & Adora Maupin Poteete; husband, James Eddie Hilliard; sons, Charlie Poteete & Stoney Lee Hilliard. Survived by: daughter, Jennie Hilliard; sons, Willie Poteete & Jamie Hilliard; sisters, Mary Jett, Irene Mitchell, Mildred Wiley; half sister, Katherine "Kat" Mangrum; half brother, Dickie Poteete; several nieces and nephews and eleven grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 PM Tuesday, January 18, 2011 at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home, Jim Taylor officiating. Interment Swanson Cemetery. Family will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be grandchildren and employees of NHC Fairground Street. Memorials may be made to the Rachel Hilliard Memorial Fund.
