Mrs. Sarah Gwin

Mrs. Sarah Louise Gwin, age 92, passed away December 24, 2009, at NHC Healthcare of Franklin. She was an avid gardener and bridge player. Member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Franklin, TN, the Women's Club of Nashville, and Docent at Cheekwood. She was also a member of Cheekwood Marathon Bridge Club and the Pleasant Valley Garden Club. Retired after 25 years from Cordage of Nashville as office manager. Preceded in death by her parents, James Alexander and Julia George Stalcup, and husband, Louis Marion Gwin, Sr. Survived by son, Louis Marion Gwin, Jr. and wife Rachel of Henderson NV; daughter, Julia Susan Smith and husband Mike of Spring Hill, TN and granddaughter, Erin Carol Leverton and husband Shaun of Blacksburg, VA.
