Mrs. Shirley Nordquist

Mrs. Shirley Yvonne Parker Nordquist, age 87 of Spring Hill, TN, formerly of Gainesville, FL, January 23, 2012. Loving Mother, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother. Member of Westside Baptist Church and the Energizers' Class in Gainesville, FL and attended First Baptist Church of Spring Hill. Ministered along side her husband to many churches across the U.S. With her husband they founded Galloway Boys' Ranch in Minnesota. Together they fostered over 75 children. She took her love for music and made it her profession playing the organ and piano and singing in churches and other venues. She enjoyed quilting and sewing and was a member of the TN and FL Quilting/Sewing Guilds. Preceded in death by parents, Warren & Marguerite Parker; husband of 64 years, Glenn Nordquist. Survived by son, Gary Nordquist of Gainesville, FL; daughters, Judith Marie (Bill) Rudderham of Spring Hill, TN and Barbie (Kurt) Kesanen of Britt, MN; grandchildren, Cameron (Rebecca) Rudderham, Shannon (Jeff) Lovell, Ashley (Pat) Lesemann & Jake Kesanen; great grandchildren, Jeremy, Blake, Christman, Lillie, Abby, Finnegan, Magnolia & Althea; uncle, William Jensen of Texas.
