Mr. Steve Wetherington

Mr. Steve Wetherington, age 75, of Spring Hill, TN passed away Monday, September 13, 2010 at his home, surrounded by his family. Steve was of the Baptist faith, served in the U.S. Navy and was retired as VP of Collections from Hospital Receivable Services in Dallas, TX. Preceded in death by his parents, Barney S. Sr. & Grace Cavender Wetherington; daughter, Julie Bush and sister, Sandra Borders. Survived by his wife of 31 years, Marsha Tomlinson Wetherington of Spring Hill, TN; son, Jeffery Stevens Wetherington of Charleston, SC; sister, Ann Greer of Denton, TX; grandchildren, Grace Ann & Zachary Stevens Wetherington and Rhiannon Goularte; brothers in law, Lyle (Leanna) Tomlinson of Morrow, OH, Terry (Fiancee, Lynn Arthur) Tomlinson of Marietta, GA, Harry (Linda) Tomlinson of Myrtle Beach, SC, Don (Donna) Tomlinson of Quincy, FL, Tommy (Judy) Tomlinson of Melrose FL; sisters in law, Margie (John) Crane of Myrtle Beach, SC, Joy (Gary) Meyer of Stillwater, OK, Ivey Clanton of St. Simons Island, GA, Rose (Al) Read of Ray City, GA and many special nieces, nephews and friends.
Funeral services will be conducted 7:00 PM Tuesday, September 14, 2010, at Spring Hill Memorial Funeral Home with Lyle Tomlinson and Gerald Matthias officiating. Visitation with the family will be one hour prior to the service. Funeral services will also be held at 12 Noon (EST) Saturday, September 18, 2010, at Salem Primitive Baptist Church in Adel, GA, with Elder Thad Marshall & Lyle Tomlinson officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery, Adel, GA. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Serving as pallbearers will be Jason, Hugh & Luke Tomlinson, Ronnie Nottingham, Matthew & John Crane. Honorary pallbearers will be Bobby Phillips, Roy Darby, Donnie, Tommy, Harry, Terry & Lyle Tomlinson. Memorials may be made to the charity of your choice.
