BATES, Mrs. Thelma C. age 91 of Franklin, TN. passed away May 27, 2012. Member of Berea Church of Christ. Preceded in death by husband of 61 years, James Alton Bates and parents, John and Ruth Askins Buchanan. Survived by daughters, Althia (Don) Bates Fox and Dottie (Woody) Bates Edwards; grandchildren, Shane Clark and Chris (April) Edwards; great grandchildren, Jonathon Carter, Eryn Edwards and Shaniah Clark; beloved cat, Mr. Bob. Funeral service will be 11:00AM Wednesday, May 30, 2012 at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home, Ned Elliott and Buddy Victory officiating. Interment, Williamson Memorial Gardens.
