Mrs. Thelma Morris

MORRIS, Mrs. Thelma Lucille, age 95, of Franklin, TN, passed away May 9, 2011. Mrs. Morris was a nursing assistant at the old Williamson County Hospital and Harpeth Terrace as well as private duty nursing. A member of Shady Grove Church of God of Prophecy in Primm Springs, she was also a pastor's wife, assisting her husband in his ministries. Preceded in death by parents, Jay Harlan and Magdeline Loutisha Potts Sullivan and husband, Luther R. Morris, Sr. Survived by sons, Ray (Pat) Morris and David Morris; daughter, Gail (Dwight) Gray; sisters, Hester Walker and Dorothy Lowery; four grandchildren; and five great grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted 2PM Wednesday, May 11, 2011 at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home, Jim Taylor officiating. Interment Potts Family Cemetery by the Strong Tower Church of God of Prophecy in Primm Springs. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
