Mrs. Vie Sevy

SEVY, Mrs. Vie Kathryn Wright, age 75 of Spring Hill, TN, previously from Orange Park, FL and Columbus, OH, passed away on Friday, January 11, 2013. Loving Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, Sister and friend to many. Born in Weston, WV, she graduated Valedictorian from Central High School in Columbus, OH, completing her education in only three years. She met and married the love of her life, Edward Frank Sevy. He was in the Navy and she followed him everywhere around the country. After moving to Orange Park, FL she went back to school and graduated Valedictorian with a Masters Degree in Education from the University of North Florida in Jacksonville, FL. She then became an Elementary School Teacher and just loved and enjoyed teaching. She retired from Duval County Public School System in Jacksonville, FL. She was an avid book reader, enjoyed collecting shells on the beaches of Sanibel Island and Cayo Costa, where the Angel Wings always seemed to find her. Also followed the Ohio State Buckeyes and the New York Yankees. She moved to Spring Hill, TN to be with her family because of poor health in September, 2011. Preceded in death by her husband, Edward Frank Sevy. Survived by: children, Teresa Sevy (Pete) Stowers of Punta Gorda, FL, Marsha Sevy (Don) Pekowski of Spring Hill, TN & Rhonda Sevy Berger of Upton, MA; brother, Gerald Wright of Columbus, OH; grandchildren, Alicia Dickenson Swank of Tampa, FL, Michael, Matthew & Rose Berger all of Upton, MA; great grandchildren, Tanner & Lilly Swank; best friend, Leslie Weaver of Olympia, WA.
