Mrs. Virginia Grimes

GRIMES, Virginia Evans, age 91 of Franklin, Tenn., passed away February 14, 2014, in Marietta, Ga. A 1945 graduate of George Peabody College for Teachers, she taught English and industrial arts at Franklin High School for 26 years. Preceded in death by parents, Elmo and Maymie Campbell Evans and husband, William Ralph Grimes. Survived by daughter Lea Ann Grimes Hudson and son-in-law James W. Hudson of Marietta and granddaughter Alice Anslea Hudson of Nashville. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, February 18, 2014, at Franklin First United Methodist Church. The Rev. Roger Parker officiating. Interment, Williamson Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Franklin First United Methodist Church Foundation.
