HARTY, Mrs. Virginia O'Dell Powell, age 86 of Franklin, TN formerly of Bartlett, TN, January 5, 2011. Born in Shelby County, TN to the late James & Alice Sherrett Powell. Preceded in death by husband, Frank Richard Harty; brothers, Leonard & Vanauie and sister, Millie. Survived by daughters, Linda (Larry) Thompson of Franklin, TN and Trenna (James) Lackey of Orlando, FL; brother, Dewitt Powell of TX; grandchildren, Rachel (David) Twiford, Tyson (Heather) Lackey, Sean Lackey, Brent (Julie) Thompson and Betsy (Gene) Cashman; six great grandchildren. Memorial services will be conducted 4:00PM Saturday, January 8, 2011 at Lord of Life Lutheran Church in Germantown, TN. Burial will be in Forrest Hills Cemetery East.
