Mrs. Wanda Clifton

CLIFTON, Mrs. Wanda Jane, age 86 of Dickson and Franklin, TN, April 1, 2011. She was the daughter of Bob and Lois Cranford of Hornbeak, TN Obion County. She is survived by her husband, Joe Edward Clifton of Dickson and Franklin, TN and her son, Robert Edmond Clifton of Dickson and Franklin, TN. A devoted wife of 56 years and a loving mother. She was a long time resident of Franklin, TN and a member of the Eastern Star and worked for Home Beneficial Life Insurance Company. She and her husband owned and operated the Dairy Queen Restaurant on Columbia Ave. in Franklin, TN for 23 years. Active pallbearers will be Mat Corum of Hornbeak, TN, Lynn Finch of Hornbeak, TN, Wilford Denton of Union City, TN, Dillon Gham of Franklin, TN and Bob Endsley of Tullahoma, TN. Honorary pallbearers will be Cody Finch of Hornbeak, TN, Trevor Gham of Franklin, TN, Billy Smithson of Franklin, TN and Marty York of Spring Hill and Franklin, TN. The family request that flowers be sent to Williamson Memorial Funeral Home in Franklin, TN. Visitation will be 4-9PM Saturday, April 2, 2011 at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home and one hour prior to the at service 2:00PM Sunday, April 3, 2011 at First United Methodist Church, 142 5th Ave. S. Franklin, TN 37064. The Rev. Tom Herring will be officiating.
