Mr. Ted Pearson

PEARSON, Mr. Ted Joel, age 79, passed away September 10, 2010 at his home surrounded by his loving family and loyal Boston Terriers, Rosy & Sissy. Born in Union City, TN to the late O'Neal & Rowena Kirk Pearson and grew up in Jackson, TN. He attended Tennessee Tech University, where he played football and got his undergraduate education. Earned his masters degree in education at Peabody College in Nashville, TN. He later joined the U.S. Army and served his country honorably. He was a retired residential realtor of 40 years and recently retired from Sam's Club after 9 years of service. Preceded in death by brothers, Kirk O'Neal Pearson, Charles Biram Pearson & Almus Burl Pearson. Survived by wife of 36 years, Linda Foster Pearson; children, Michelle Rene (Stephen) Pearson of Brentwood, TN, Wade O'Neal (Candace) Pearson of Atlanta, GA & Cornelia "Nealy" Elizabeth Pearson of Nashville, TN; grandchildren, Emma Grace & David Peterson of Brentwood, TN & Gabriella Faye Pearson of Atlanta, GA; sister in-laws, Catherine Foster Stallings of West Palm Beach, FL, Marilyn Pearson of Tiptonville, TN & Janice Pearson of Oak Ridge, TN; several nieces & nephews. Memorial service will be conducted 4:00 PM Thursday, September 16, 2010 at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home, Chaplain of Alive Hospice, Gene Lovelace officiating. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or Alive Hospice of Nashville.
