Mr. Thomas Bond

BOND, Mr. Thomas Alexander, age 77, of Franklin TN passed away Monday August 16. He was born October 19, 1932 in the Bethesda Community. Graduate of MTSU; Alex retired as Postmaster from the Franklin, TN post office; former member of Franklin Noon Rotary. His passion was maintaining the family farm in Bethesda, TN where he was most at home riding his tractor and watching over his cattle. He enjoyed many years of camping with special friends. He was a long-standing member of First United Methodist Church where he enjoyed the company of a very special bridge club for several years. Son of the late Lawrence & Naoma Alexander Bond. Survived by wife, Rachel Warren Bond; son, Anthony (Ashley) Bond; daughter, Fonda (Larry) Walker; grandchildren, Avery, Jack & Mimi Bond, Katie & Brady Walker; sister, Martha (Ned) Laughmiller; niece, Lynn Davis; close friends, Bill Giddens & T.K. Jones. Funeral service will be conducted 11:00AM Thursday, August 19, 2010 at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home, Dr. Lynn Hill officiating. Interment, Mt. Hope Cemetery. Active Pallbearers; Don Giddens, Billy Giles, Jack Bond, Wiley, John Lawrence & Bond Davis, Keith Roberson & Owen Alexander. Honorary pallbearers; T.K. Jones, Bill & Joann Giddens, The Bridge Group & Koinonia S.S. Class. Memorials may be made to First UMC Imagine Building Fund or the American Cancer Society.
