SMITH, Mr. Thomas G., age 65, Thompson Station, TN. March 12, 2011. He served in the Army Reserves and was a courier for FedEx. Preceded in death by parents, Thomas C. and Christine A. Mucci Smith. Survived by wife, Rietta Smith; stepson, Danie (Shelle) van Niekerk; stepdaughter, Selien du Plessis; god daughter, Cheri York; brothers, Philip C. (Cindy) Smith and Scott Smith; sisters-in-law, Chrisnel (Jimmy) Hudson and Nellie (Denny) Lalouette; and seven grandchildren. Memorial service will be held 2:00PM Tuesday, March 15, 2011 at Spring Hill Memorial Funeral Home, Perry Muse officiating. Honorary pallbearers Stan Whitaker, Jack Miller, Morris Thurman, Jerry Clayton and Bill Jordan. Memorial donations may be made to Willowbrook Hospice, 381 Riverside, Suite 440, Franklin, TN.
