CARLISLE, Mr. Walter O., Jr., age 96 of Franklin, TN, October 13, 2013. Member of Historic Franklin Presbyterian Church. Preceded in death by parents, Walter O., Sr. and Ida Garrett Fort Carlisle and his wife of 56 years, Dorinda (Derry) Derryberry Carlisle. Survived by: son, Walter O. (Linda) Carlisle, Berkley, CA; daughters, Dorinda (Brant) Smith, Glen Allen, VA & Nancy (Ed) Englehart, Holmes Beach, FL; sisters in law, Betty Derryberry, Columbia, TN & Susan Derryberry, Shelbyville, TN; grandchildren, Matthew & Megan Carlisle, Tempe & Carlee Smith, & Tara Hollants; and two great grandchildren. Memorial services will be conducted 11:00AM Thursday, October 17, 2013, at Historic Franklin Presbyterian Church, Rev. Sally Hughes officiating with visitation to follow the service at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Historic Franklin Presbyterian Church or the charity of your choice.
