Survived by wife of 43 years, Reda Garland Polk; sons, Clayton Bernard (Shirley) Polk of Franklin, TN, John Nelson (Peggy) Polk of Mt. Pleasant, TN, Ronald Carroll (Nell) Polk of Chapel Hill, TN; daughters, Cherry Diane (Floyd) Carter of Arrington, TN, Shelia Mai (Gary) Holt of Thompson's Station, TN, Priscilla Mai (Mark) Hood of Chapel Hill, TN; sister, Doris Jane (Tom) Kennemer of Huntsville, AL; twelve grandchildren, twenty great grandchildren & ten great-great grandchildren. Funeral Services will be conducted 1:00PM Saturday, February 13, 2010 at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home, Elder Clifton Johnson & Billy Richard Rodgers officiating. Interment, Johnson Hollow Cemetery. Grandsons will serve as active pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Maury Regional Hospital Staff, Dr. Terri Jerkins, Dr. Whitson Lowe & Dr. Harold Odom. Memorials may be made to the American Red Cross, 129 West Fowlkes, Suite 100 Franklin, TN 37064.
