Warren F. Thomas, 93, of Maristone Assisted Living, Franklin, TN was called home to be with the Lord on 20 September 2012. He was born in Chicago, IL the son of Morton Thomas and Hazel Rutherford, besides his parents; he was preceded in death by his lovely wife, Mary Roe Thomas and a brother, Mort Thomas Jr. of Angola, IN. He was a previous resident of Bryan, Ohio and a self-employed toy and hobby manufacturing representative. He is survived by a daughter Nancy Ann Lorenz and husband David, Ingleside, IL and three sons, James Thomas and his wife Carol, Franklin, TN, Peter Thomas and his wife Marlene, Elizabeth City, NC and Thomas Thomas and his wife Marcy, Middletown, OH. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, Mike Larson, James Larson, Anne (Larson) Harrington, Joe Thomas, Katie (Thomas) Shepherd, April Thomas, Rudolph Thomas and Calvin Thomas and eleven great grandchildren. He will be missed by his large extended family and a circle of friends. Warren was a U.S. Army veteran having served during World War II. He was an avid golfer and a previous member of Orchard Hills Country Club, Bryan, Ohio and a member of Sugar Mill Country Club, New Smyrna Beach, FL. He also loved playing poker and gin rummy with friends in Bryan and Naples, FL. Warren had an artistic ability in his paintings and enjoyed decorating their many homes. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate memorial gifts be made to Avalon Hospice, 2525 Perimeter Place Drive, Suite 121, Nashville, TN 37214, (615) 889-5995. Memorial services will be held at a later date in Bryan, Ohio.
