BENNETT, Mr. William Clyde, age 86 of the Little Texas Community, September 7, 2012. Retired from the State of TN after 19 years service. Survived by wife of 66 years, Susie F. Garner Bennett; sons, William L. "Copper" Bennett & Richard Clyde (Karen) Bennett; daughters, Brenda (Joe) King, Lula (Tommy) Heithcock & Leola Glenn; sister, Lucille Allen; fourteen grandchildren & fifteen great grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00PM Sunday, September 9, 2012 at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home, Bobby Bennett, Justin Collett & Jim Taylor officiating. Interment, Bennett Cemetery. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers: Employees of the State of TN Hwy. Dept. and his College Grove Bluegrass friends. Memorials may be made to Peytonsville Volunteer Fire Dept.
