HARLIN, III, Mr. William Wirt, age 64 of Franklin, TN, September 8, 2012. 1966 Graduate of Battle Ground Academy and received his BS Degree from Samford University. Longtime service with the National Guard. Worked several years in the financial industry including Goldman Sachs, First American, Morgan Keegan and Raymond James. He had a passion for farming which was passed down from generations of the Harlin family. Wirt had an intense sense of business but a contagious sense of humor. Preceded in death by mother, Barbara Nunally Harlin. Survived by: wife, Tracey T. Harlin; sons, Bill (Kelly) Harlin IV & Tom (Laura) Harlin; father, Bill Harlin; brother, Clay (Faye) Harlin; sister, Camille Harlin; grandchildren, Tucker, Luke and Emily Harlin. Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 AM Tuesday, September 11, 2012 at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home, Russ Corley officiating. Interment Williamson Memorial Gardens. Family & friends will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Associates of Raymond James Financial. Memorials may be made to Encouragement Ministries, P.O. Box 2082, Brentwood, TN 37024-2082 or New Hope Community Church, P.O. Box 3146, Brentwood, TN 37027.
