SHAFFER, Mr. William Fred "Bill", age 85 of Franklin, TN, June 16, 2011. Retired after 25 years of service with General Electric Space Program, then worked seven years in records management in the petroleum industry. Avid photographer. Masonic officer of the Ancient York Lodge. Survived by: wife, Nancy Shaffer, daughters, Beverly Landry & Dawn (John) Reynolds; sons, Bob (Laurie) Shaffer, Jim (Gail) Shaffer, Ron (Sandie) Shaffer, John (Bonnie) Hannon & Dr. David (Tracy) Hannon; 16 grandchildren; four great grandchildren and other loving family members. Thanks to special caregivers, Linda Ragsdale and sons. Funeral services will be conducted 12:00 PM Monday, June 20, 2011 at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home, Pastor Chris Carter officiating. Entombment in Williamson Memorial Gardens, Remembrance Mausoleum. Sons & daughter will serve as pallbearers.
