Retired from Metro Police Dept. Operations Specialist for Police Athletic League. Preceded in death by parents, Ernest Leslie & Mary Agnes Jenkins Beard; brothers, Thurland, Vernon, Leslie & George Beard; sisters, Margaret Beard Carney, Minnie Bell Beard, Mae Beard Inman & Virginia Beard. Survived by: daughter, Mary Ramona Milligan Bagsby; grandchildren, Barton Keith Bagsby, Jr. & Mary Morgan Lee Bagsby; brothers, Dorris (Marie) Beard, Jenkins (Virginia) Beard; sister, Odell Sullivan & several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted 3:00 PM, Monday, March 15, 2010 at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home, Jim Taylor officiating. Interment Williamson Memorial Gardens. Active pallbearers will be Tommy, Carroll, Gary & Terry Sullivan, Will Brasfield, Shane & Robbie Barnhill & Clyde Shaw.
