PACE, Ms. Jo Karen Frazier, age 65 of Nashville, TN passed away September 18, 2012 from complications of Multiple Sclerosis which she battled for nearly 40 years. She endured this disease with grace and dignity. A 1965 Graduate of Glasgow High School, she was a majorette and All-State Alto Sax player. She won numerous awards in various Kentucky Beauty Pageants. She was also a Graduate of David Lipscomb College where she was charter member of Gamma Lambda and also a Bisonette. She was a teacher with the Williamson Co. School System for 25 years where she taught typing & business courses for 23 years at Franklin High School. She was the official clock keeper for football & basketball games for many years. Preceded in death by parents, James Wendell & Lydia Ruth Poynter Frazier and brother, Terry Frazier. Survived by son, Brandon (Ashley) Pace of Knoxville, TN; daughter, Lesli (Gary) Claiborne of Fairview, TN; brother, James Wendell, Jr. (Brenda) Frazier of Glasgow, KY; sister in law, Jo Anna Frazier of Elizabethtown, KY; grandchildren, Abbey & Zack Claiborne, Esther, Theodore & George Pace and several other loving family members. Celebration of Life Gathering will be held from 5-8PM Saturday, September 22, 2012 at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted 1:00PM Monday, September 24, 2012 at A.F. Crow Funeral Home in Glasgow, KY, Danny Wyatt officiating. Interment, Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Family & Friends will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be the Staff of West Meade Place. Memorials may be made to Multiple Sclerosis National Society of Middle Tennessee, 4219 Hillsboro Pike, Nashville, TN 37215.
