Nell McMurray

Nell McMurray, age 98 of College Grove, TN passed away January 26, 2024. She was born in Williamson County, TN to the late Claude & Mary Alexander. Nell was a member of Allisona Church of Christ. She is preceded in death by her husband, Sam King McMurray, Jr.; daughter, Harriette McMurray; daughter in-law, Kim McMurray; great-grandson, David Paul Brison; brothers, Claude Alexander, Gene Alexander, Ralph “Rooster” Alexander and Paul Alexander. She is survived by her sons, Sam McMurray of College Grove, TN and Robert McMurray (Rita Heuss) of Eagleville, TN; grandchildren, Raven (Jeff) Martin, Traci (Brandon) Brison, Joshua McMurray, James Chad McMurray, Tiffany (BJ) Burns and Troy (Kate) McMurray; great-grandchildren, Knox & Grier Martin, Finn, Farran & Kells Brison, Ben & Claire Burns & Miles McMurray and many loving nieces & nephews. The family would like to thank her caregivers, Patsy Sams and Rheva Curtis. Visitation will be 2-5PM Sunday, January 28, 2024 and one hour prior to the service at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held 11:00AM Monday, January 29, 2024 at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home. Pam Wells and Pete Rucker will officiate. Burial will follow at Williamson Memorial Gardens. Active pallbearers will be Bubba Alexander, Lee Robinson, Dale Robinson, Willie Covington, Arnold Alexander and Woody Dodson. Honorary pallbearers will be members of Allisona Church of Christ, Jackie Weisner and Kevin McAllister.
