Nellie Potts

Nellie Mae Buchanan Potts, age 81, lifelong resident of Franklin, TN. She was a devoted member of Walker Baptist Church where she taught Sunday school classes for over 40 years. Nellie loved her family and all the children she ministered too throughout her years of service. Preceded in death by her parents, Dave and Clara Taylor Buchanan; sister; Mary Buchanan McMahon and brothers; David Buchanan, Clarence Buchanan, Owen Buchanan and William Buchanan. She is survived by her loving husband of 59 years, Mitchell Bruce Potts; son, David (Candi) Potts; grandchildren, Michael (Harika) Potts, Michelle Potts (Russell) McMillen and Sarah Parker. Funeral services will be held 2:00PM Sunday, October 4, 2015 at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home with visitation being held 4-8:00PM Saturday and one hour prior to the service Sunday. Interment, Mt Hope Cemetery. Michael Potts, Russell McMillen, Guffee Potts, Russell Potts, Bart Nash and Justin Hickerson will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers are Victor Buchanan, Joe McMahon, Reese Potts, Boyd Potts, Glen Pickard, Jimmie D. Bennett, Jr and Jimmie D. Bennett, III Memorials may be made to Walker Baptist Church.
