Norma Barker

Mrs. Norma Jean Ring Barker, age 85 of the Burwood community, formerly of Columbia, TN and Boonesboro, MD died Wednesday, June 29, 2016 at her home. She was born July 28, 1930 in Columbia, TN, the daughter of Cassie and Jenny Craig Ring. She was a retired nurse at Williamson Medical Center and a homemaker. She was married to Jack D. Barker of the Burwood community who passed away October 2003. She was survived by sons, Jackie Ring Barker and Joel D. Barker; six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Norma was preceded in death by her daughter, Jenny L. Barker (2005) and one great-grandson. Funeral service will be held 1:00PM Saturday, July 2, 2016 at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home, Jim Taylor officiating. Burial will follow in Burwood Cemetery. Family and Friends will serve as pallbearers. Visitation will be 2-8PM Friday and one hour prior to the service at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home. She was loved by many and will be missed by all.
