Ona Powers

Mrs. Ona Waller Powers, age 92 of Franklin, TN passed away October 25, 2015. Served as 1982 President of the Knoxville Rose Society in Knoxville, TN. In Franklin, she was awarded the 2000 Volunteer of the Year, 2001 Ele' Award, 2003 Mary Cawthon Award and 2004 Republican of the Year with the Republican Women of Williamson County for her local, state and federal Republican activities. Preceded in death by husbands, James E. Baldree and Pat B. Powers, Sr. Survived by: son, Michael W. (Joan) Baldree; daughter, Sherry (Everett) Sinor; grandchildren, Everett Sinor II, Beth (Jeff) Coleman, Cheryl (Bob) Sinor-Harned, Michelle (David) Dodson, Michael Baldree II, Emily (Patrick) Sargent and John (Kim) Baldree; great grandchildren, Lauren, Briley & Vivienne Sinor, Zach & Olivia Coleman, Jonah Sinor, Connor & Caitlyn Dodson, Caroland, Michael III & Jacob Baldree, Brian & Matthew Sargent and Kaleb Baldree; stepchildren, Pat Powers, Jr., Claudie Ann Brown, Julia Newman; step grandchildren, Melissa & Patricia Powers, Heather Beard, Ricky Kramer and Eric Newman; sister in laws, Carolyn (Dennis) Johnson, Donna (Bill) Murray and Carol Ann Powers. Funeral services will be conducted 12:30 PM Friday, October 30, 2015 at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home with visitation starting at 11:00 AM prior to the service. Interment Mt. Hope Cemetery. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
