O. Cecil Fowlkes, Jr., born March 25, 1939, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 16. Originally from Memphis, TN, Cecil and his family then lived in Manalapan, New Jersey, before moving to Franklin. He was retired from Murray Ohio Manufacturing, loved being a founding member of the Nashville Golf and Athletic Club and a member of Christ United Methodist Church. He is survived by his wife Sally (Taylor) Fowlkes; daughters Callie (Fowlkes) and Keith Victory; Lindsay Jones Fowlkes; brother James Fowlkes and Jackie of Memphis, TN; grandchildren Hannah Taylor Victory, Jonathan Ryan Victory, and William Jackson Victory. Memorial service will be held Friday, August 21, at 3:00 PM at Christ United Methodist Church, 508 Franklin Road, Franklin TN. Donations in Cecil's memory may be made to Brentwood Academy, 219 Granny White Pike, Brentwood, TN 37027.
