Paula Flaugher

Paula Buchanan Flaugher, age 79 passed away May 9, 2019. Native of Williamson County, TN. Graduate of University of Kentucky where she received her Bachelors Degree. She taught elementary school in Williamson County for several years. She had a passion for travel and took many groups on international and domestic trips. Preceded in death by husband, John Thome "Pete" Flaugher and daughter, Katie Flaugher Polk. Survived by: son, John T. II (Jennifer) Flaugher; daughter, Mary F. (Mark) Gillenwater; brother, Sam F. (Ann) Buchanan; sister, Betsy (Thomas) Fiveash; grandchildren, John T. III (Morgan) Flaugher, Carter, Annie & Samuel Gillenwater, Clayton and MaryKate Polk; great grandchild, Sawyer Flaugher and son in law, Chris Polk. Funeral services will be conducted 2:30 PM Saturday, May 11, 2019 at Heritage Church of Christ, Paul Forshey and Steve Blackman officiating. Interment Mt. Hope Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Johnny Flaugher, Carter Gillenwater, Samuel Gillenwater, Clayton Polk, Jimmy Dyer, Paul Fiveash, Mark Gillenwater and B.B. Joyner. Honorary pallbearers will be members of Franklin Flakes and members of Heritage Church of Christ. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Heritage Church of Christ Building Fund, 1056 Lewisburg Pike, Franklin, TN 37064.
