Ralph Peden, Jr.

Ralph Hutchings "Buddy" Peden, Jr., age 71 of Franklin, TN passed away April 24, 2017 in Hilton Head, SC. A retired sales and marketing executive in the food service industry, Buddy was a loving husband, father and grandfather and faithful and devoted member of Epworth United Methodist Church. He was an active member of the AA community for more than 28 years, often generously giving of himself to serve others. Buddy was an avid lover of animals and especially enjoyed taking care of and riding his many horses. He is preceded in death by his parents, Ralph Hutchings Sr. and Marie McKinney Peden; son, Franklin Patrick Peden; and sister, Patricia Dressler. He is survived by his wife, Cindy Johnson Peden; son, Ralph Hutchings "Hutch" Peden III; and grandsons, Jackson Hutchings Peden and Mason Patrick Peden. The memorial service will be conducted at 2 PM Friday, April 28, 2017 at Epworth United Methodist Church, with Rev. Donna Parramore officiating. Visitation will be at the church from 4-8 PM on Thursday and on Friday at 12 PM until the service time at the church.
