Raymond Woodside

Raymond Douglas Woodside, age 87 of Franklin, TN passed away September 4, 2018. Veteran of the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. Retired machine operator with Nashville Gas Company. After retirement, he worked parttime and retired from Williamson Memorial Gardens. Member of Cool Springs Primitive Baptist Church. Preceded in death by parents, Henry and Ida Elizabeth Wiley Woodside; son, Ronald Douglas Woodside; sisters, Ruby Poteete, Margaret Crowell and Gladys Collins; brothers, Blythe Woodside and Horace Woodside. Survived by: Lucile H. Woodside of Franklin, TN; son, Mike (Lynn) Woodside of Brentwood, TN; brother, Tom Woodside of Thompson's Station, TN; sister & brother in law, Jean (Nelson) Dodd of Columbia, TN; grandchildren, Austin Woodside and Courtney Woodside and other loving family members & friends. Funeral services will be conducted 10:00 AM Saturday, September 8, 2018 at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home, Elder Allen Broughton officiating. Interment Williamson Memorial Gardens. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
