Ret. Lt. Col. Robert Lee Foster, age 83 of Franklin, TN passed away September 29, 2015. Retired from the U.S. Air Force and graduate of the Aviation Class of 1955. Also served in the Army National Guard. Retired from the U.S. Post Office. Preceded in death by wife, Janis Foster; son, Robert McDowell Foster and son in law, Ronald V. Serfass, Jr. Survived by: daughter, Margaret "Sissy" Serfass; grandchildren, Anna Serfass and Michael Serfass; brother, Larimore Foster and sister, Rachel Smith. Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 PM Thursday, October 1, 2015 at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home, Jeremy Hall officiating. Interment with full military honors will be in Williamson Memorial Gardens. Memorials may be made to Wounded Warriors.
