Rev. Greathouse, Sr.

GREATHOUSE, Rev. Hollis Raymond, Sr., age 68 of Franklin, went to be with the Lord, November 4, 2012. Pastored at various churches since 1966. Pastored at First Assembly of God in Franklin before retirement. Member of Graceland Community Church. His passion was to volunteer for various organizations including Gate Communications serving the Deaf & Hard of Hearing by organizing their prayer ministry; volunteered at NHC Place with alzheimer's patients and volunteered with countless other missions. Formerly employed by WAVES, Inc. Even though he was confined to a wheelchair, he stood tall with his faith and love for his family. Preceded in death by daughter, Connie Rene' Greathouse Volentine. Survived by: wife of 48 years, Evelyn Greathouse; sons, Hollis, Jr. & David Greathouse; granddaughter, Ashley Wiseman. Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 AM Wednesday, November 7, 2012, Pastor Ralph Duncan & Terry Bailey officiating. Interment Williamson Memorial Gardens. Church family will serve as pallbearers. Visitation will be 4-8PM Tuesday and one hour prior to the service on Wednesday at WILLIAMSON MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 615 794-2289. www.williamsonmemorial.com
