Richard Joseph "Joey" Gootee, Jr. age 35 of Franklin, TN, December 26, 2015. Member of Grace Chapel Church. State champion wrestler at Father Ryan High School; attended college at the University of Tennessee. He had a successful career performing as Joey Modus as an Electronic Dance Music producer and performer for events both domestic and international. He was devoted to his family and friends; had a kind spirit and enthusiastic personality. Survived by parents, Rich and Marsha Gootee; sisters, Teasi (Bill) Cannon and Jenny (Jerry) Fann; niece & nephews, Carli, Ben & Sam Cannon, Jaden & Jarrison Fann. A memorial service will be held 5:00PM Friday, January 8, 2015 with visitation one hour prior at Grace Chapel Church, 3279 Southall Rd., Franklin, TN 37064.
