Richard Helleis

Richard "Beaver" Helleis, age 70 of Franklin, TN passed away on February 11, 2017. He retired after 30 years as a tool and die maker for General Motors/Saturn. He was happiest spending time in his garage building and restoring street rods. He also enjoyed going to car shows, golf trips and vacationing with his wife and spending time with family and friends. Preceded in death by father, George Helleis. Survived by his loving wife of 31 years, Linda Helleis; daughter, Tracy (Chris) Murphy; son, Sean (Patty) Helleis; grandchildren, Matthew Murphy, Zachary and Jordan Helleis; mother, Irene Canto; brother, Ronald (Kathy) Helleis; brother-in-law, John Asplint and nieces and nephew. A celebration of life service will be held at 11:00AM on Saturday, February 25, 2017 at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home. Visitation will be one hour prior to service. Memorial contributions in his memory may be made to the American Heart Association or the American Cancer Society.
