Richard Johnson

November 18, 1941 — April 25, 2017

Richard W. Johnson, age 75 of Brentwood, TN passed away April 25, 2017. Known affectionately as "King Richard", "Mr. Magnificent", "Big D" or "BIG DADDY", he answered to all these names and lived up to all those names.
Adored and loved by all who knew him and were touched by him. He was a drycleaner, a whitewater canoer, a Christian who lived his faith, a licensed Series 7 broker, a joker, a Salesman Extraordinaire, Land Developer and a friend to all he met all rolled into one. Preceded in death by parents, Richard M. and Mayme Johnson; brother, Jimmy Johnson; son, Bruce Wayne Johnson. Survived and adored by wife of 57 years, Patricia C. Johnson; children, Neil Johnson, Sandy (Peter) Klein and Scott (Janet) Johnson; daughters- in -law, Julie (Charlie) McPherson, Dena Smythe Johnson and Wendy Johnson; nephew Brian (Anne) Johnson, brothers, Robert (Shane) Johnson and Larry (Pam) Johnson; sisters, Elizabeth Johnson and Brenda Johnson; grandchildren Sarah, Katie, Rachel, Coleman, Hunter, Madeline, Haleigh, Nate, Olivia, Bonnie and Keaton. Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 AM Friday, April 28, 2017 at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home, Bob Norton and Fred Shanks officiating. Interment Williamson Memorial Gardens. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Memorials may be made to ENHAA Scholarship Fund, P O Box 218043, Nashville TN 37221. Visitation will be 4-7PM Thursday and one hour prior to the service on Friday at WILLIAMSON MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 615 794-2289. www.williamsonmemorial.com
