MEYER, Mr. Richard Charles, age 77 of Franklin, TN, April 9, 2010. Originally a native of Ohio, veteran of the U.S. Army, and geologist in the oil industry owning his own company, Zenith Oil & Gas. He taught and coached in the Mt. Gilead, Ohio school system. Survived by: wife of 51 years, Virginia Meyer; daughters, Kathryn (Mike) Morey & Robin (Philip) Newman all of Franklin, TN; grandchildren, Christopher, Kyle & Megan Morey; Abby, John & Joseph Newman. Military graveside service will be conducted 11:00 AM Monday, April 19, 2010 at Middle Tennessee Veteran's Cemetery, Rev. Terry Kinnaman officiating.
