PEWITT, Richard "R.A.", age 85 of Bon Aqua, TN. passed away June 27, 2010. He was a retired truck driver for Kroger and his handle name was "Pinball". Thanks to Avalon Hospice for their great service. Preceded in death by parents Richard and Missy Warren Pewitt; daughter, Thelma Sue Pewitt; brother, W.J. "Dub" Pewitt; sister, Myrtle Mencer. Survived by wife of 65 years Sue Keathley Pewitt; daughters, Peggy (Mike) Bottoms, Sandra (James) Heithcock, Pamela (Richard) Pewitt; sons, Bobby (Betty) Pewitt, Buck (Angie) Pewitt; 13 Grandchildren and 21 Great Grandchildren. Services will be held 11:00AM Wednesday, June 30, 2010 at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home, James Valentine officiating. Burial will follow in Williamson Memorial Gardens. Bo Ray, Scotty Pewitt, Derrick Bottoms, Billy Ray, Tony Pewitt, and Austin Pewitt will serve as pallbearers. Honorary Pallbearers are Seth Parker and Matt Berhow. Memorials can be made in lieu of flowers to Avalon Hospice, 2525 Perimeter Place Dr, #121 Nashville, TN. 37214.
