Rick Pritikin

Rick Jay Pritikin, age 69 of Spring Hill, TN passed away with his loving family at his side on Sunday, February 20, 2022.

He was born on May 9, 1952, in Chicago, IL to the late Seymoure and Lillian Pritikin.

Rick attended DePaul University graduating in 1976 with a B.S. in Pre-Law and Business. He then pursued an M.B.A. in Business from Almeda University. Rick spent his career in various executive roles growing leadership teams, developing strategic sales, and marketing plans and later took special interest in consulting for startup companies.

Rick’s unwavering love for The Lord brought out several passions outside of his corporate career. He remained an active member of the church where he felt God’s presence, no matter the city he resided. In Franklin, TN, he served as a Deacon at Christ Community Church. Living in God’s Purpose was deep seeded and drove him to creating Christian Fellowship Placement Ministries, Inc. and authoring “Why Did I Lose My Job if God Loves Me” in 2013.

Rick is preceded in death by his brothers; Dr. Steven Pritikin, David Pritikin and sister, Sheryl Nichols.

He is survived by his brother Elliott (Judy) Pritikin, his sister-in-law Maria Pritikin, daughters; Diane (Jason) Shawver, Lauren Pritikin, Bethany Pritikin, their mother Kim Pritikin and his adoring grandchildren, Bradley, Chloé and Makyla, as well as a host of loving nephews and nieces.

Visitation with family and friends will begin on Saturday, April 2, 2022, at 1:00pm. Services will be led by Pastor Mike Smith at 2:00pm for all who wish to attend.
