Robert Bufford

Mr. Robert M. "Bob" Bufford, age 91 of Franklin, TN went to be with the Lord on March 19, 2015. He was an Elder for over 40 years of the Churches of Christ. He was in the auto parts business until he retired. A WWII veteran completing 51 missions over Europe as a nose gunner on B24's. Survived by: wife of 69 years LaNelle Stubblefield Bufford; sons, John (Rose) Roland Bufford & Doug (Michele) Bufford; daughter, Vickie Bufford (Carter) Brown; grandchildren, Russ (Taylor) Brown, Christopher (Elizabeth) Brown, Tiffany (Michael) Smiley, Ashley Bufford, Amelia Bufford & Grant Bufford; great grandchildren, Will, Walt and Bennett Brown & Harper Smiley. Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 PM Monday, March 23, 2015 at Southern Hills Church of Christ, Dan Cottrell officiating. Visitation will be two hours prior to the service at the church. Interment Woodlawn Memorial Park. Active pallbearers will be Grant Bufford, Russell Brown, Christopher Brown, Dewayne Stubblefield, Larry Pirtle, Michael Smiley, John Wood & Zac Martin. Honorary pallbearers will be Elders & Deacons of Southern Hills Church of Christ, O.H. Mason, Joe Legate, James Atkins & Howard Stubblefield.
