Robert Burch

Mr. Robert Edward "Bobby" Burch, age 85, of Columbia, TN, passed away October 29, 2010 at the home of his daughter, Tina. Born in Nashville, TN to the late William & Nannie Harvey Burch. Mr. Burch operated several service stations in Nashville, a retired truck driver with Smith & Attkisson Trucking and a member of Old Lasea Church of Christ. Preceded in death by his wife, Ethel B. Sexton Burch, who died on January 29, 2010, after 59 years of marriage & son Robert E. "Little Bobby" Burch, Jr. Survived by daughters, Martina (Tony) Jones of Columbia, TN & Dennise (Allen) Pier of Stedman, NC; sons, Terry (Peggy) Burch of Columbia, TN & Bruce (Patti) Burch of Lewisburg, TN; 8 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; several brothers & sisters in law & numerous nieces & nephews. Visitation will be 1-6 PM Sunday, October 31, 2010 & one hour prior to the service on Monday at the funeral home. Funeral services will be held 12 Noon Monday, November 1, 2010 at Spring Hill Memorial Funeral Home, with Eddie Rogers officiating. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Park in Nashville, TN. Family & friends will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Peggy Sampson, Linda Brown, Mary Harris and members of Old Lasea Church of Christ.
