Robert Easton

Mr. Robert Lee Easton, age 65 of Columbia, TN, May 27, 2014. Received his Masters in Economics from Eastern Illinois University. Veteran of the U.S. Army where he served in Vietnam. Retired from Fed Ex Ground after 23 years of employment. He was a member of St. Philip Catholic Church where he served as Usher and Eucharistic Minister. Avid HAM radio operator with his call sign "KJ4QCN" and a member of the Williamson and Maury County Amateur Radio Clubs. Member of the 1st Cavalry Division Association, the American Legion Post 19. Enjoyed fishing and woodworking. He adored his family and was a loving husband, father, son, brother and Pappy. He had a kind spirit and will be truly missed by all. Preceded in death by father, Thomas Allen Easton and stepfather, Vernon Charles Ostermeier. Survived by: wife of 45 years, Ann Easton; son, Aaron (Amy) Easton; daughter, Shelley (R.J.) Pratt; mother, Fern Easton Ostermeier; brother, Steve (Peggy) Easton; grandchildren, Addison Pratt, Ainsley & Alivia Easton. Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 AM, Friday, May 30, 2014 at St. Philip Catholic Church, Father Tran celebrant with visitation one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment, Williamson Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Aaron Easton, Steve Easton, R.J. Pratt, Derek Warburton, David Woods and Bob Pratt. Memorials may be made to the Disabled American Veterans, 110 9th Ave. So, Room C 166B, Nashville, TN 37203. Visitation will be 4-8PM Thursday at WILLIAMSON MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, 615 794-2289.
