Robert Guy, Jr.

Robert Martin Guy, Jr. (Bob), age 77 of Brentwood, Tennessee, passed away May 18, 2018. Bob was a member of Concord Road Church of Christ as well as a member of the Disabled American Veterans and American Legion. He served as the District Commander, State Senior Vice Commander, DAV Elected Commander of the State of Tennessee from 1995-1996. Bob was appointed to Chief of Staff, Cerdenshills Committee Chairman for 15 years, and also State Inspector General for 15 years. He was devoted to the Disabled American Veterans. Bob is proceeded in death by his wife, Glenda of 52 years, and his parents, Robert and Esther Guy. Survived by his two daughters, Melissa Durard (Forest) and Misty Holladay (Kolin); grandchildren, Taylor Faulk (Zak), Grace Anne Holladay, Kendall Durard, Bradford Holladay, Bryden Holladay and Brantley Holladay; great grandchild, Laken Faulk; and siblings Tim Guy, Diane Mills, Mike Guy and Kath Whetung. Graveside services will be held 12:00 p.m. Sunday, May 20, 2018 at Williamson Memorial Gardens with visitation at 11:00 a.m. Sunday, May 20, 2018 at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Disabled American Veterans.
