HAWKINS, Robert E. age 81 of Antioch, TN. Passed away May 19, 2012. Member of Hillcrest UMC, worked for TWRA & Opryland First Aid Dept., retired from State of TN Dept. of EMS and developed the Sumner Co. EMS. Preceded in death by parents, Hugh & Pauline Hawkins. Survived by wife, Carol Hawkins of Antioch, TN; son, Eric Allen (DeRusha) Hawkins of Nashville, TN; daughter Cynthia (Wayne) Arnold of Gallatin, TN; brothers, Thomas (Jane) Hawkins of Franklin, TN & Charles (Alaana) of Woodbury, TN; sister, Dorothy (William) Fisher of Nashville, TN; grandchildren, Jonathan, Christopher, and Elizabeth Arnold, Sarah Hawkins; great grandchild, Kameron Arnold. Service will be held 2:00pm Thursday, May 24, 2012 at Hillcrest United Methodist Church, 5112 Raywood Ln. Nashville, TN 37211. Rev. James Cole & Rev. Joe Shelton officiating. Burial, Williamson Memorial Gardens, family & friends to serve as pallbearers. Honorary Pallbearers: Hillcrest UMC Men's Club. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
